This harness is needed to install an Aftermarket Stereo
RCA connectors - Connect into Back of Aftermarket Stereo (head-unit)
This harness has the required AMP TURN-ON Wiring
NOTE: Will NOT work with Cars with : DIGITAL SIGNATURES :
- GM Chime Control, Onstar, Y91 Premium Bose (DIGITAL)
- VSS (Vehicle Speed Sensor) Volume that increases or decreases w Vehicle Speed
- DATA-Bus / LAN-Bus/ CAN-Bus/ systems equipped with Rap Feature Present
- Easiest way to identify Rap (is radio will continue to play) even if key is turned off pulled from ignition (until a door is opened)
- Does not Retain Steering Wheel Audio Control (SWC)

- Cap and insulate all unused wires individually to prevent short circuits.
- This wiring harness may not include all wire colors listed above
- Not Uncommon to have un-used wires.
- *Chassis Ground (some harnesses omit the black wire)
- Factory separate wire directly to metal Chassis at Radio Location
- **Amp Ground (not used very often) Ground wire on plug is sufficient
- ***Orange (mostly never used) Aftermarket Radios are self illuminating
- (Sometimes - the SOLID BLUE wire can be Used as an AMP Turn On wire)
